Belarus. 4.3% of early spring cereals already sown

Spring fieldwork progress in Bulgaria is far behind last year. So, 98.6 Th ha of land (9.7% of the target area) had been tilled for planting spring cereals by April 10, 2018 against 701 Th ha tilled at the same time in 2017, reports UkrAgroConsult.

43.7 Th ha was seeded to early spring cereals and pulses (4.3% of the plan) against 586 Th ha at the same time in 2017.

Noteworthy, it is projected to sow 8.7% more early spring cereals and pulses in 2018 than last year (1019 Th ha and 937.6 Th ha, respectively).

Farmers fertilized 329.7 Th ha of winter cereals, i.e. 25.2% of their projected area of 1310 Th ha, against 1265.6 Th ha (94.6%) at the same time last year.
