seen a bloke make his own he used a right angled gearbox like youd have on a topper, a length of round bar with padles made of box section welded to it that would feed down the slots in the slats then had one of these adapter welded to the shaft so it could be slid onto the gearbox

We used to pump them down till there was about a foot left then put the quod with the snow plow on underneath and mix up all the renaming solids with it. Then push with the plow to the pump. Worked great. Also put a open station mx110 loader tractor under a big barn once. It's a prity common practice over hear never seemed to do any of us any harm

Our shed is well ventilated and generally the slurry is moving along the channels ok. We simply need to break up a few lumps in some corners.

the Mixit stirrer can be made to any length.
for underslats I mostly supply around 14ft long.
the auger allows your crust to freely circulate past the stirrer.
there is no stationary framework in the slurry to stop circulation.
the impellers will deliver up to 150hp so these really move slurry from corners.
long narrow tanks are always a problem unless you have central walls for flow and return.
thick crust is no problem, providing you have enough liquid.
you can see a video on Youtube or my website.
