You must have been buying your tups from the wrong home @MJT !

Possibly ! , I'm putting my faith in these couple of home bred lads this season and see how I get on, know they won't disintegrate during tupping at least . Peeler ram lamb was born with full fleece before anyone comments .

Nice lambs, like the peeler fella especially. Often tempted to try a Beltex on commercial ewe lambs, but wouldn't fancy lambing pedigrees ones...
 
Accurate as above I'd say. Same as every year - good sheep = good trade. An odd bargain to be had in the tup lambs but gimmers were well sold. We averaged £500 for our 7 which would be fair price. We have same problem as every year though - not enough feed into them!

Not as good as your tups @MJT but this is my effort at breeding my own tups. They are 3/4 beltex with their mothers being home bred for at least 3 generations.
This lad was in for a quick trim this morning before heading to the local show tomorrow.
