I was wondering when someone would bring them up. I wonder what the world would look like, if every townie owned a few acres of the countryside.

I am amazed they got permission to stay there, the place needs a good tidy up

I didn't think they have got permission. He said they'd applied for retrospective pp and been turned down, so likely they'll stay while they go through as many appeal processes as they can.

The doasyoulikeys that set up illegal settlements in fields over bank holiday weekends do just the same, knowing full well that it will take a good 8-10 years to get them evicted.

It was a sh!t hole! I amazed they bought that field, surely there are more sheltered easier fields than that one. Think it will only be a matter of time before they are hit with an enforcement notice.
