No rush, it's been sat on the yard for a month but if we get some rain I might plough some desert. Get the Royal welsh over firstGot some spare legs. Either break back or solid type. Problem is I am away for a week from tomorrow . I am in Shropshire.
If you don't get fixed op contact me in a week.
Local hammer swinger said he'd have a go, I just wondered if anyone on here had any luck. It hasn't dropped the point down, just twistedWould you chance pulling it back with a bit of heat?
I’d put that under the Press with some strategically placed steel shims, do it cold and apply the pressure - what have you got to lose
Don't thnk it would ever be the same again even it it did straighten.Your head if it flies out the press
That will take some straightening i would think
Close! 5120Was it a Davy Broon wot did it?
Bloke who worked for Dad years ago caught the back furrow of an international plough in a cattle grid when the tractor bounced going flat out. Never got it back quite rightIt certainly wont straighten as easy as it bent.
Might be best to heat and pull with a chain winch where it is, that way you could keep measuring as you go.
In the press it would be working a bit blind ......
Probably never be the same again, but if your lucky pulling it back, it might "do"
There is a fella round these parts straightens stuff like that, never lets anyone see how he does it but always does it cold I'm told.I’d put that under the Press with some strategically placed steel shims, do it cold and apply the pressure - what have you got to lose
