Beretta or Browning

Ive got a Browning B25 and a Perazzi MX8, both trap guns.

I shoot just as well with my AYA Yeoman O/U.

The Berreta Silver Pigeon is a lovely little gun.

Thirty odd years ago Berettal had problems with the hinge lugs either side of the barrel wearing but Browning and Miroku got round it by having a full hinge pin like a side by side. My Browning 325 has had ten thousand cartridges through it and is hardly broken in but if it doesn't fit you it counts for nothing

If you need the stock adjusting to fit you properly, bear in mind that a Beretta stock can be altered more easily due to the design of the Browning action.
I shot a Browning for years and liked it but as I got older (and fatter) it didn’t fit so well and I was told it couldn’t be altered enough to fit properly so I ended up with a Beretta which fits as it should.
It’s not turned me into a rival for Digweed but it is better now I’ve got used to it!

Don't do what I did, I started off with a cheap Lanber and shot very well with it but it was well worn and unreliable. I always wanted a Silver Pigeon and eventually saved up enough to buy1. It seemed to fit well in the shop and so I bought it. My shooting ability took a massive dive, struggled to hit much at all. I persevered for a few years then gave in, this time I tested a few guns on clays and decided on a Browning 725, my clay scores immediately improved!
