i have a new to me berthoud mack sprayer with dp tronic box,
it has a cable to take speed from the tractor, all conected
but the speed fluctuates all the time 5kph- 25kph- 85kph.
which means l/p/hec wont settle i think the 2 are linked?

any ideas?
tractor is a t6 2020 newholland and connected through iso
2000 mach 24m sprayer

Loose connection on your speed input cable? Try putting it on manual and entering a speed see if it settles then if It does change cables and try that

We run two Berthoud sprayers with DpPTronic controls. We had The problem you describe and the cure is to replace the internal battery in the control box and recalibrate completely, ie no of jets per section, width etc.
The information is in the instruction book.

I seem to have got the box stuck in fixed pressure so it isn’t altering litres/ha to match forward speed, any ideas what could be wrong? DP tronic ex box on trailed sprayer.

switch on back of box near fuse holder needs to be down
have had 12 years of d p tronic issues
to go through settings
switch of box and back on holding button down with cogs on
what size wheels you on as wants to be 5.24/ ish on 18.4/38
16 pulse per revolution

new battery in box is cr2032
first job
then see what memory comes back
and also i’d pressure sensor has failed there is no fuse line so defaults back to frog ish
and when done battery and stuck at 1 bar
your bollockxed
and need to ring richard at berthoud to talk you through the button combinations to get it all back and reset

Its running the same kph on the sprayer box as tractor Speedo though so think that’s ok?
13.6 R38s showing wheel C 4.6 on box 16p /r right enough.

Only thing I just found there was boom section set to 12…. Should that be 24 on 24m machine?
how many section have you 4/6 /8 just put in in each section you have how many nozzles per section and scrol through page
off on hold cog button and and scroll through pressing bent arrrow to confirm every entry then off on switch and should store

Thanks, will look again when back at it. 4 sections, that setting goes up to 30 though, that’s why I assumed it was meters.
