This size used to be known as 20.8R38. I've got Michelin of that size at the back of my Titan and they have been OK so far. What can I say? Any brand is much of a muchness in this vanilla size. If it is a new tractor, it may be pot luck what it comes with or, possibly for extra cost, a factory order may be possible with a choice of three or four brands depending on availability.

I had Michelin agribib 18.4 38 and they cracked somethin serious. Worst tyre i ever owned at the end youd o needed the tyre van follow in ye. Looked on bigtyres.co.uk and vredestien looked pretty good tread pattern compared to say trelleborg, what would they be like for grip and last in on road?

Not Vredsteins, got some 520/70/38’s on one tractor and walls are starting to split. Vowed to never have Pirelli’s again for the same reason. BKT’s are the choice here when replacing tyres

Got 20.8-38 bkt on one tractor here, grip well in the field, but won't grip worth a sh!t on the road. Had 18.4 Mich on it before and never failed a hill with them on.

Goodyear are back in ag tyres again, so I'm told.
Last ones I had perished off the beads in about 6 years, same as the old Pirelli TM200s used to.

People with a lot of bad luck here regarding tyres. Have a pair of Kleber 18.4’s on a tractor and they are 24 years old, were taken off a tractor at 4 years old and stored til 4 years ago, almost worn out now but never punctured nor cracked.

id try Kleber, our valmet has that size in bkt and were fitted but mistake, should have been tianli I don't rate 85 series bkt at all highly. one tractor dealer is now fitting linglong on any tractors that need tyres. high chance the next tyres here will be linglongs but I still like the look and general good news on Kleber from jb tyres.

Kleber seem to be the tyre of choice with the contractors I help out. Having said that they're fitting 70 series tyres. What's the reason for 85 series? I prefer a 580/70r38 for every job except ploughing.

+1 for Kleber here, got 2 tractors running on them and so far doing better than the Michelin's they replaced
