best dairy x continental grazing animal?

These are my 4 Guernsey X Blue heifers born last March. Outside from 10days old with milk until 10/12 weeks and a kilo of cake until October, out wintered on kale and they've just been on some very average pp with no other feed since coming off kale in late Feb.

I pleased how well they look, I've got 40 odd out of jerseys and a few Guernseys from this year that are looking well too. I don't think anything except blues put enough shape onto allergy type grazing animals.

You sure your not still feeding them milk:ROFLMAO:

They are looking very well, just shows what can be done with cattle from Guernsey cross cows if they are reared right from day one.

Will you fhinsh them or sell store?

They're not booked in yet but the big 4 will be off to Kivells orange market this autumn and hopefully the 40 calves will be off to a regular non TB market next autumn.

These are all spring born jersey X blue. They do look good but they are all well fed and some are still on milk, although not a lot. One group have been reared on some cull cows, early on there were 7 cows and 14 calves, now there are just 3 cows 14 calves. Some are weaned and with the heifers and get a kilo of cake and the smallest still get whatever waste milk I bring home from the dairy each day.
