Cheers I have them in stock and can generally ship directly to most area's.

The frames are good, but as said sometimes they do require additional work to make them fit some loaders.
Are you able to buy the hydraulic locking kit separately to the headstock ?

I've not seen headstock that does both (i quess it would have to be welded on).

There is the adapter plate that allows you to do both. From memory Taylor attachments will do the plate for around £750. But the plate will be min 4inch thick and will reduce performance.
Issue- I have a tractor with a Quicke 540 loader, with Quicke No.3 headstock, arriving soon.

I've looked hard but can't seem to find used attachment for Quicke No3 (bucket, forks). There seems to be lots for Quicke Euro 8.

The question is what is the best thing to do?

1/ keep Quicke no.3 headstock and just keep searching for used attachments.
2/ Get an adaptor plate to change from No.3 to euro 8 (£750). With reduced performance.
3/ Weld on a euro 8 headstock, if it can be done, cost on EBay £200 +welding.
4/ Get Quicke no.3 brackets (£50 each) and welding them onto attachments with different brackets, so they will now fit.
5/ No right answer, just pick one.

I'll put a poll here to make feedback easier.

Any suggestions welcome. Cheers
Get a second hand headstock and no welding needed. I happen to have one

We have 2 loaders on quicke no3 headstocks, there are loads of attachments new and second hand available for them, we have just bought a quality brand new twin spike supplied from new withno3 brackets, £180 from border plant sales, David sayce from Hereford has a yard full of attachments with no 3 brackets, granted there are definitely more on euros but still easy in my opinion to get all new and second hand attachments for the no3 headstock. The money spent buying a new euro headstock would buy a couple of attachments instead I’m sure!
