Best electric fence post

Whats the best electric fence post for sheep?
Needs to carry 3 lines of wire
Bonus points if it has a "twist off" wire design like the kiwikit white posts

Rappa every time.

What they said..........

..............although I got three boxes last week and they do seem to be getting a bit expensive nowadays (even allowing for the free Yorkie)

I’ve ordered something from RAPPA for the last 4 years in a row and I’ve never received a Yorkie 😢
Me to although I don’t think mine come direct… I find the new Rutland posts good on straight runs for flicking off but annoying on bends, I use the blue Rutland posts for those bits

Just bought 200 new economy posts this week but they aren’t the same as the 1s I had before, look weaker and not as much in them, after a bit of research it looks like the 1s I already have are the next range up so I’m going to make a call on Monday and see if I can get them as they’ve always done me well. Only ever break them when there is a frost

But their lovely for running/driving with and turning off the post which is almost impossible with the heavier duty style etc.. I do find they snap easy hence why I only use them on straights

It'll be 'cos by about Easter time, you're having to 're-enforce' all your fences to keep the Blackie hinderends in
It’s usually around then I realise I haven’t got enough reels too pick all the wires up! So yeah that will be why it’s eggs! By Easter the blackies are either gone or well broken too fences… got 740 out behind 3 strand so far and they have been a damn sight less trouble than some texel lambs of our own breeding! 😡

The ones I want are pretty much the same just a bit thicker in the spine, use them for curves no problem

I’ve never had any choccies of RAPPA either.

Out of interest, are you folks getting the extras ordering direct, or through Livestock Management Systems?
Is Marcus helping himself to our Yorkies? Has anyone seen him recently, to see if his waist has expanded? :scratchhead::whistle:
