Best Hand moisturiser

About to start calving. My hands normally get dry and hacked during calving. Can anyone recommend a good hand cream. preferably not to oily/ greasy. Thanks

"Doublebase " (it has generic "doubles " ) is OK . you can buy it in a pump action bottle from the pharmacy now , whereas it used to be on prescription .

Got some Working Hands last weekend, and it was on special offer in Lloyds pharmacy’s £5.99. Like it so far no smell and not greasy. Thanks for the recommendation.

All our skins are very different and there are many products which suit different people.
I have always used the original Nivea and use at least a pot a fortnight, but I have got badly damaged hands from an accident many years ago.
However just recently have had a bad outbreak of eczema , some thing relatively new to me and was struggling as had tried many products including , calomine lotion , E45 scratch cream, and many other but luckily have been recomended Aveeno moisturiser and it seems to be doing the trick

Wear gloves for doing anything veterinary and wear gloves those of you who are handling dairy chemicals. Easier to prevent skin conditions rather than cure them. I used Garnier hand cream (red tube and quite cheap from supermarket) to combat the repeated effects of alcohol gel.

Crikey, a barrier cream that lasts for over six months - I find that they mostly need replenishing at least twice per day.....

Big pump dispenser not cheap, but a tiny amount goes a long way.
