As above friend of mine asked me to look out for a telehandler to upgrade his 1996 cat th62 I got it for him 13 years ago and it has never let him down. He uses it to erect farm sheds so new handler needs same reach and definitely needs to be 40k gearbox something from 2003-2011 he has in mind what best option

TH62 had a long reach for its size. Closest you will get with out going bigger machine is a 531-70 but might be a smidge less reach.

Or you go for a compact 9metre which for a shed erector is probably more useful.
Would be same sized chassis base more or less.

So a JCB 535-95 or a manitou MT 932 or MT 1030 even.

Qman is right, I hate the things always have.

I'm sure they have there issues like all machines do, but you probably wont find anyone that knows them inside out that would give you an honest answer!

Had phone call yesterday someone had a merlo on hire locally to me and the cab heater didnt work could I take a look at it! They seemed almost offended when I said I wont work on them🤣

2008 machine with 7500 hrs
I have a customer with a 2008 34.7 with 12500 hours on it’s getting ‘tired’ a little now but still feeds everyday
