Best "inflation proof" farm investments?

I've written this before, but yes. I have a BoE tracker for life of mortgage that was taken out around 2007/8, when tracker rates were very low. I'm paying 0.17 above base and whilst they won't let me borrow any more, I have been able to extend the term to the maximum allowed.

I could have had lower, but not for life of loan. Having done a short term tracker before I CBA with another so accepted a slightly worse rate for a longer term. Remember, there were short term BoE minus rates at the time too, with BoE running about 5% I think at the time and banks keen to throw money at anyone who wanted it..

One sound investment, if it is applicable and if you can afford, it is to bestow a legacy early on children or grandchildren.

They may be at an age when they need a leg up, and maybe would appreciate a bit of help now rather than at some time in the future when they might not need it. And you will be dead and gone and won't have the satisfaction of seeing them make (hopefully) sensible use of it.

We only live once, including Hindus or Buddhists.

As you can see, mine is with Barclays but was a Woolwich mortgage at the start.

Still waiting for an apology from @Agrivator too, for suggesting I was writing ballox.

Don't know what to do this year.

Last year, filling a couple of sheds with AN would have yielded quite nicely.
Wish I’d bought more at £199 a ton

What's your best guess?
I might claim to be many things after a few drinks, but Christ isn't one of them.

What's yours? I'm guessing that those who are already rich will become richer than Croesus, something that's happening alteady but the rate of change will increase. This endless money printing takes money away from the little people and moves it to the rich. Every currency's value is being eroded, it's only the fact they're all at it that hasn't caused major shifts so far. I really don't know what's going to happen but it ain't gonna be pretty. 2007/2008 was the dress rehearsal. At least then they were pretending to right the ship. What's happening now isn't just the frantic attempt to counterract covid, it was the continuation of the 2007/2008 denial that was already happening but turned up to 11 because of covid. The money printing didn't start in 2020.

There was me thinking 1% over base for last 19 years was good. Well done the winners, as in not the lenders!
The next winners are those at the bottom who have had stagnant wages since oor tonie opened the borders to unlimited eu labour in 2004.
Wages are now going to increase by 50%. Forget about min wage.
Women and kids could make £100/ day picking calabrese in 1980.
Daffodil pickers and the poor b#ggrs face down on a trolley picking asparagus have to work hard to do that in 2021. Virtually no one on here would even get out of bed for less than £20/hr and want time and a half for Saturday and double for Sunday. Quite rightly in my view.
Outside food which with Anzac, Canadian etc deals which will keep it down inflation now 20-100% in 6 months.
