Yes I realise that just the KV bashers are out in force again!

Nope no such thing as best in any form of anything tbh.

All do the same job its personal preference. Never used a kv and just a lemken, and now a gregoire besson.

Sounds better built than my SIKU 5f Lemken, was ploughing some rough carpet 1 day and ripped the last furrow off only a day old!

Yea, I can understand that.

but what works for one wont work for another.

Tho wish the advice of buy a mondeo wasnt taken worst decision ever made.

the one that you buy well, run cheap, does a good job and sell for good money. Make irrelevent

there is nothing wrong with a kv, the best ploughing i ever done was with an international 300
but its all to do with the bit between the seat n steering wheel

@stuart @Darren it was a 6920 JD, just had head gasket done and new injectors plus a dirty great chip on it as well lol, got out of bed late that morning so was sending her on trying to catch up...

overum and the xl board has set the standard for ploughs in recent years.but can see kuhn stealing there crown.kv is an ok plough but by no stretch of the imagination is it the best.

My carpet was obviously heavier than yours as mine didn't last long.

In reality its not really down to the make of the plough, but which mouldboard is best for the type of ploughing you require. Do you want to plough with wide 650 + tyres? a board that will invert the sod,not leave it standing on end? Vari width, auto reset, hydraulic front furrow and a good strong reliable frame,and that's about it.Should have added,at a price that is affordable!
