Thinking about painting the exterior of the farmhouse once the cattle come in and its quieter on the farm.

Anybody recommend a masonry paint, will be applied be brush and would hope it will last five years!

Is it flexible enough to use on lath and plaster type walls that "move" a little?

Whats on there now? modern Emulsion or limewash? Is it just cracks, or peeling and bubbling? I've skimmed gypsum over lath and lime to good effect and you will probably never see a crack again. If its a rough wall and you see it a lot it is worth considering doing if the cracks annoy you.

If its still traditional limewash on the plaster I'd be tempted to put on a mineral paint.
