Away on the Mid horizon just as the vid starts , I was Born there.
Yes May is nice but for me June with half decent weather just trumps it.
Hedges do look nice atm,and trees like the Beech have just come out properly now as well ,got that lovely light green that is only seen this one time of year , its all out in leaf up Exmoor way now.... which you see as you follow the Exe Valley right up through.

My favourite place in the whole wide World . ❤️

Negotiated a modest Passout yesterday and rather than trying to cram in a 6hr ride into 4 hours, I took a little trail bike out and trundled off West towards the Long Mynd, cross country. Everywhere looks and smells wonderful as the crops, trees and hedges really get going.

Up on the high ground, grass looked thin, but on a sunny day, looking out onto the N Shropshire Plain one way and then swing around and look on into Wales, stunning. And then on coming back and pootling down the farm drive, to see my lambs playing on an in-field muck heap, fit as fleas and growing a storm, it's got to be May here too.... :)

I really like spring time but fencing in among long wet grass, nettles and such does get annoying as everything greens over
I like a dry October, you can get loads of work done in October

In May I get 15 acres of this, it fills my heart to brimming and is one of the main reasons I do it. :)
