I am looking for a couple of cameras that I can set up in our farm buildings and view on my iPhone 5s . The cameras can have mains electricity supply and will be situated under the over-hang of a building. I have looked at various options on Amazon but I am not sure that for £35 they will do the job.... Any thoughts or experience...?

So no answers.. ..? Which suggests that the systems available from Amazon with over 200 five star reviews might just be worth trying unless somebody has an alternative suggestion.

I have some Y-cams - there are pretty good and easy to set-up, not £35 but not silly (circa £100-150 IIRC ) there is a phone app etc

Very pleased with a mix of LILIN and Axis cameras and LiveCams Pro for iPhone/iPad. This app gives you flexibility with camera brand rather than being tied to 1 manufacturer by their free app

Ill improve on @Sleepy's response! definitely something we can help with, and you are certainly right, you do get what you pay for. Not just with the camera but the software that you use to view them and the ease of remote access as well. We certainly wouldn't even get close to anything of that price but it depends on what you are looking to achieve with the cameras. I'm in the office this morning and available this weekend if you want to have a chat about the best options then drop me a message and I will give you a ring!

If you can do it yourself Swann systems are a grand cctv system, I have one here with 6 cameras running off it I'm a sparky so I was fit to sort it but I thought it was easy enough. Has an iPhone app and all.

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.

Discussion with Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) officers confirmed the site...
