always go to cladex is there anyone else any good who supply marley eternit sheets and wooden perlings
wooden purlins sharples out of guardian (£14 for 7x3x15ft)
maddens at leeds for marley eternit but ring briarwood for a quote and tell maddens they need to match briarwood (they wont quite but like £100 deere on a £3k order.
briarwood will give a really good price for both timber and sheets (better for sheets) but I have been told they are imported sheets and not as good quality as marley, they have a 30 year guarantee but I have also been warned its not worth the paper its written on so I thought for the sake of £100 ill have marleys.
pm me I will give you my prices per sheet.
Marley don’t offer a warranty anymore I don’t think, if you notice it’s disappeared off all there adverts.
Briawoods do offer a warranty
Briawoods sheets are made abroad but it’s using the same equipment they used to use over here to make them, health and safety wanted loads of extra guards fitting etc and tc so briawoods packed them up and took them to Italy
I knew briarwood offered a warranty but I have been told by 1 person that its not worth anything? suppose you will have never had a warranty issue? if you notice briarwood don't often put the 30yr warranty on adverts now?
just had a look and I cant find anything about the marley guarantee on website. cant find the briarwood either though.
which is the best then? We’ve reroofed both an eternit and briawoods roof on Warrenty
Have you had any issues with the cembrit one piece ridges?Eternit are best sheets but worse to deal with. The sheets are on par really but ridge fit better
Have you had any issues with the cembrit one piece ridges?
It's not just me then. Fought the bloody things on 3 different roofs.Yeah, I absolutely hate cembrit with a passion. They’re an absolute pig to fit. Measured one cause I thought I was going mad and it was 3” out of square
