Amazone power harrow and drill with Kuhn venta coulters for me and that's coming from someone with a Kuhn venta (new) model combi unit there's nowt wrong with it but they've over complicated some things compared to the NC-LC we had beforehand.

Too many fancy linkages, wearing parts, lack of rotors and both too expensive. Having run an accord on CX discs, poor penetration and phenomenally expensive to run - avoid.
Sulky good but expensive. Bought a Pottinger on ADD discs - lot cheaper and have to say I'm impressed

We tried a Lemkin solitaire 9, an Amazone super, and a Horsch express kr, all were very good drills but we went for the Horsch. The double disc coulter is exceptionally good at accurately controlling seed depth, and is simple to set. We likes the fact that there are no complicated linkages to wear also.

What's it like in the wet? Wheels seem very close behind counters so we worried they would smear
