Ive got an amazone and only problems I get are it puts a huge amount more seed on than calibrated it for.normally do a bag then adjust accordingly.they should bury the seed ok behind the rotec roller.discs cut seed into the compressed soil then the Harrow moves the loose soil from between the rings onto the compressed part.will agree when it's very wet and unsuitable going its a different matter though

@Phil P how did you fix rear bracket on tractor to hold seed delivery pipe?
I made a support that bolts through the bung in the rear fender that would have the external pto switch in on the smaller models (It's in the fender extension on mine) then the pipe bracket sits onto it and is secured with a pinch bolt.
I'll take a couple of pics tomorrow, probably explain it better.

Thanks. We've just bought a Kuhn with a ph and a front tank. Have to 'pipe it up' when it arrives next week. Driver wont be too happy if I use bale twine and tie it through the cab window - dairy farm solution

Can't beet a bit of bail twin :ROFLMAO:
I'll take some pics of the front bracket as well cos if you have cab suspension the pipe needs to be able to float slightly.

Cheers Phil. The drivers tractor is a 6210r so perhaps similar to your 6215r(?) . We considered fitting a single bracket to cab steps.
Not a lot of difference to be honest, mount points are about the same.
It's a good length from front to back though, I used a full length of soil pipe and a bit to keep the flexy pipe from rubbing on anything. I think you may find it would flex to much if it is just mounted in the middle, I haven't tried it though so could be wrong.

Not the best pic in the world, and a 2012 photo, but still our current system for planting spuds. Single mounting point, onto the back of the heavy bracket that holds the exhaust. Allows the cab to move on its suspension fine. 4x60mm pipes. (was originally one 100mm pipe)

Where would you get a price for an alpego?
Hi there, have you thought about trying a alpego? Fantastic drills and power harrows

We have been running Alpego's for several years. We've tried EVERYTHING but nothing can touch the Alpego!

If you mean the plastic pipe? It's just 100mm soil pipe (toilet outlet) any pvc guttering supplier will usually stock it (b&q but expensive there). Think it comes Comes in 3m or 4m lengths. The flexy stuff is a bit harder to get and usually isn't cheaper either.

@Phil P how did you fix rear bracket on tractor to hold seed delivery pipe?

Here's a few pics (not got round to painting the brackets yet [emoji849])
This is the rear hanger, I just drilled the plastic bung which is already in then put a big washer either side then it doesn't scratch the paint.

The bracket just slips on and nip the bolt.

The pipe can slide through the front plastic clip for the suspension, it also makes it easier to remove as you just take the back bracket of and slide it out the front.

Similar idea for the front hanger just a bit bigger.

Yep what jim and phil have said warren is very helpful, we priced everything up through him, we did a test in some tragic conditions that you would of never of drilled it your right mind! To cut a long story short, the alpego did it, we demoed a 6m horsch kr, bunged the whole thing solid 4 times in 15 yards, theres just not enough room inbetween the front and back coltours to let clod through, its the same on a lemken, we wanted a drill to drill as late as possible and go when nothing else would if really needed

Thanks Phil that's great. Really helpful. It looks ideal for getting on and off reasonably quickly. Our stuff looks similar as it's same tractor and a Kuhn folding power harrow with a Kuhn ventra front tank, all be it 10 years old!
Cheers again.
