I am loathe to play the CF mind games and am considering imported AN or Urea.As the title says I was wondering what people's opinions are as to which imported AN/Urea is the best quality.Thanks.

Lithan is probably the best, then zaksan. Polish pulan is decent enough too and will spread fine to 24m.
I've used Egyptian and alerian urea branded as origin and Orwell fert. With urea I'd just be sure your buying granular and not prilled!!!!

In a round about way I will be buying 750t of Granular Urea as Amidas or straight urea rather than buying 100% U.K. liquid this year, will have 200 m3 to fill tanks but otherwise I’m going for cheapest pence / kg. Very pleased to have 80t of 2 yr old Extran in the shed.

Same as us.... Will be all urea next year at about 1.60/N bought 210 tons.

Will use pollysulshate for s03...

Nearly all urea used this year... have to say I prefer it to an

We ended up with some Russian stuff (before it all kicked off) and that seems to be a real nice quality, can't remember the name on the bag though

My neighbour bought some Borealis product this spring, 27/9, through MVF, came in green bags, that was really good. No noticeable difference to Yara Axan, and when I did the shake tests etc, like @Chae1 I ended up with exactly the same settings for the spreader. Spread at 24m with no problems or striping.

What price is polysulphate? I dont like they extra pass if spring is wet but I am thinking might have to go that route. Tried without putting on Sulphur this spring... don't think I shall do that again :bag:

What price ?? Double what it was last year without the Gas price to blame…

I’m still using it again though as it still stacks up against AS if used with Urea
Yes an extra pass but does give flexibility with N doses afterwards
Price varies but low £300’s is around the mark

How can Polysulshate have gone up so much it's mined in Yorkshire, it isn't reliant on gas to produce it. The only increased costs are extra mining costs and 3xtra haulage costs but that doesn't double it's cost from a year ago!!!!
I heard one justification was the increase in Potash pricing, it only contains 14% so can’t see why it’s doubled
Profiteering on strong commodities, it was £250/t prior to the new season N pricing
