Been quoted for containers with CISA 285/75 lock or SQUIRE solid steel, anti pick, anti bump lock. Which is best? Is there a better one? Is the covering as/ more important than the lock itself?

The padlock is half the story.

No point having the best padlock in the world that is then fastened onto a small piece of metal.

The same with the lock box.......it needs to be a substantial piece of metal, welded onto the container properly, where you can only just get the padlock in the gap.

Think Angle grinders open all of them?
Yes, but if you weld a box on first around padlock, then cut some 1/2" alloy, place this over the first box and then weld another box over it they wont get through that. If you've ever tried to cut alloy with a cutting disc you'll know it blocks up in short order.
But then they will just cut in through the roof or sides, but then the more time it takes them the more risk of getting noticed/caught

We use the cisa only now for the simple fact they have been most reliable in terms of not seizing up falling apart etc compared to other brands we have used. As for breaking in all of the boxs etc can be cut open eventually. I supply locks to all of our containers and keep a spare as much easier than spending 20 mins cutting them open.

As mentioned lamination is the key layers of soft / hard materials clog the grinder, I seem to remember something about used tungsten tips used to make it harder but will have to look for it

Reciprocating saw will reach behind a lock box and cut the bar coming out from the door off that you're lock is locked through. However I'm told if you run a couple of welds across where the blade would be cutting with hard facing rods it'll knacker blades. If someone really wants in you're never gonna stop them its more about making it take long enough they either get caught or sick.

anything can be broken into with a grinder a Cuttting disc and some time I would go for the Cisa and as said above they can all be picked , but when did you hear about your average thief picking a lock ??? NEVER
