Looking for a phone with better battery life . Samsung Galaxy never seem as good as they made out to be ,
New Huawei flagship cant get google it seems due to Trump Nonsense
Never been an iPhone fan
Need something good as never use a PC

My Samsung easily does a day. Give it a full charge every night. Normally only down to 40%.

S8 Samsung I'm currently using still does best part of a day using it for work and internet/email. Normaly goes on charge early evening. I've had Samsung for years and they've always been knackered within 2 years this ones the best yet.

I periodically shut all the apps running so they're not in the background running. That helps a lot.

Do you carry a small battery bank for a quick charge I have 2 gets the phone battery back up 40-50% very quickly.

I was yes . Lost them in the house will have to look them out . On sky go a lot atm as well , use it instead of tv

I think I will try honur next. currently sim only on a s8 plus that's 2 year 3 months ish old.

Not a huge fan of Sony and hate the iPhone I have for work would go Samsung but there pricey for the higher specs

You must be using a lot of powerful apps to not even last a day. If your watching a lot of sky go that will probably be it. A newer samsung would probably be as good as any, I doubt any of the new phones will be significantly better than any other under high battery use. I would suggest find your power banks being the better option. My Samsung Galaxy S9 will last a whole day but I have chargers in every tractor, telehandler, truck, by my computer (wireless charging stand) and by my bed and i have a power bank so it can always be charged wherever I am.

Had HTC for the last three phones and like them a lot. The user interface just seems to work well for me.

had HTCs since 2010, really like them, but they have sold most if not all of their smart phone tech and staff to google.

For a no nonsense android look into the Android One line of phones, a few manufacturers do them. The manufacturers have made an agreement with Google not to add their horrible software and other "bloatware", I believe carriers also aren't allowed to add bloatware.
