Best sockets for high torque

Different metal ,,impacts are chrome molybdenum and other sockets are chrome vanadium ,,think the black is to distinguish they are impact ,,saying that ,,Halfords do a 200 set all in black

I would not of thought of going to Halfords for sockets, tools etc. Not been there for years, thought they only sold the cheaper end stuff, will pop in next time i,m in Gloucester.

A big thumbs up for deltec They will even make odd sizes if required. I got a 12 point 3/4 inch drive from them last year.

if you take invoice in you can get trade card, its really not expensive with discount and very good stuff

Haha, yes I’ve actually applied for a trade card on line, but haven’t been back there to provide proof, since I picked up the last 200 piece set which was on discount just before Christmas

I bought that set from ffx. Very good sockets so far and very good money too

Yep, every pack should have spares of these. I must have 6 13 mm spanners kicking about. they seem to fit everything, baler doors, shear-bolts, side panels.

I inherited some King Dick tools off my father twenty years ago and find they are bullet proof. I assumed they were some long lost make and abused the crap out of them then I was amazed to see they are still making them and in the UK!
They are not cheap so buy the ones you need/break unless you are rich?
