Spot spraying with grazon pro.
Expensive stuff but worked very well for me last year on nettles and thistles.
You could use thistlex which is about half or maybe a third of the price when I researched but that’s not licensed for knapsacks so then you definitely cant[emoji57]

Spot spray the thistles and brambles with grazon pro.
Spot spray the rushes with headland thrust. These are the two legal options for knapsack use.
I suspect blanket spraying will wipe out or severely hurt your plantain no matter what you use.

Grazon Pro wont touch rushes but best on Brambles
If you just want the headlands cleaning up the roundup will kill the lot .not as good on Brambles though

My experience is that you’ll be back spot spraying again and again with mcpa. Also not legal for a knapsack sprayer

To be certified for knapsack use the manufacturer has to jump through a load more hoops to get the necessary approval on the label. The net result is most products won't be approved because the manufacturers simply don't bother.
