Best tool chest/ box for back of pick up with canopy?

Gearmate draws are good but not cheap, but universal so if you change pickups then they will fit in the new one.

Tool chests in vehicles dont last it's a very harsh environment for them!
Even snap on ones crack up after a few years

The trick is not to overfill a tool chest, keep the weight down & they do last an awful lot longer.
The last 2 I used were a Clarke ( machine mart heavy duty ) with a smaller Sykes Pickavant chest on top of it.
Both lasted very well & both are still very good boxes sitting unused in my garage.

Gearmate do a pull out top to go on top of the drawers or just a pull out tray you could bolt your own boxes on.

Mate has a snap on "Road chest" its stood up very well considering he drags it about in a container on an Ifor.
He wrecked two ordinary boxes first before this one though.

Mount them on thick rubber Matt helps . I have a decent Teng box in my pickup.

mines a 40" box with a split in the middle so a set of narrow draws and then wider ones with one full width draw at the top. it dont like fast cornering
