Best toolbox type front weight for tractors

Have been asked this by a friend.My reply was that the Watkins design was as good as any,but what else should be considered?
Looking at 1200kg with toolbox incorporated into the design.

Make 1 it's not difficult a set of water weights and some steel then you get a decent size tool box to go with your weight

Mine is 900kg but could easily be made heavier it's about half the size of most you can buy and has a bigger box

Really like the agriweld ones think they suit modern tractors better than the Watkins ones

Cherry products do a good one that has a removable concrete weigh. The problem with most is you end up carrying a weight because it’s got your toolbox

Cherry products smart box , 2 decent sized sealed and lockable boxes either side and a 600kg or 1 ton block that can be lifted in and out with a forklift in the middle, headlights and indicators too

Ive just fitted a mx multibox to the front of a john deere weight. Was the best value box i could find for the money and we already had the weight

Really can't fault my Sumo weight block, it was ex demo/show so nobody could touch the price.

I havnt got any on my phone at the moment but i will get you some if you like.
Its held on by a bracket we made that fits in the towing eye the bracket just lifts off and can be moved between weights if needed. The mx multibox is curved and fits around the jd weight quite good, yes its stuck out a bit but no more than any other weight/toolboxes setups. We did think about making something but for the price and size of the multibox it would have been hard.

Thanks all., The ability of farmers to make their own stuff never fails to impress!
Like the idea of a weight that can be removed quickly when ballast not required,leaving space for tools etc

I’ve just ordered up an MX 600kg weight and all the pics online seem to show them in a very light grey colour, did you special order yours black? Looks much smarter.
