switches used to go when i used to have them...also didnt like being droped too well if i remember rightly ...As above Clulite , had mine ages, very robust.

Two power levels on the main beam and the white side light, never bothered with the red light. A full charge lasts ages, it's light and comfortable to carry.
I have an older version of the Trio and it does have a flippin long beam.Does it actually shine 600m???
The beam is pretty good - I'd estimate the practical throw to be 300 meters - it does reach further, but the intensity is dropping off by then. It's a bit narrow for close work compared to traditional lanterns though.What's beam like
