Best treatment for Orf?

Got a mid if Feb/Mar born lambs that some gave fairly nasty Orf.

I went though them last week with Terramycin spray and that’s dried a lot up but some are worse. Just gone through th again.

They have Orf buckets and rock salt kicking around but some of the scabs have spread up over the bridge of the nose.

Is Terramycin the best option still?

It's not on any medicines list and is an irritant, so I wouldn't advise experimenting.

Got my salty water spray ready, and will give it a go with any new cases ~ there will be new cases! ~ and maybe give a smear of petroleum jelly over the sores.

The Pharmacist advised salty water plus petroleum jelly for me with a cold sore beside my eye last week and pleased to report it's working.
