Has anybody got any recommendations for some decent tyre levers for tractor and loadall tyres? Currently got a 30” melco ttl3 which seems decent and some smaller levers that aren’t really up to it so looking for some 30” plus was going to order another Melco unless anyone has any other recommendations?

What about these hydraulic bead breakers my local tyre guys seem to use them a lot now was planning buying one, anyone got a recommendation

I've a screw type bead breaker, it was about £60 delivered, works just as well as a hydraulic but you gotta use a ratchet for a minute.

Got the Sealey version, works very well.
I don't think you can put a rattle gun on mine as it has T bars instead of hex ends.

I’ve got three of the ken tool levers. Came from a crooked tire repair man that was quitting his job. Also gave me a tire axe. Best tool for breaking a bead. Can be hard on the rim if you get it wrong thou. The leavers are great and I’ve not broken them but have a couple of broken melco levers that emigrated with me.

We have a couple of the 39" melco levers. They are ok but I don't like the s shaped end on them. It tends to get trapped between tyre and rim too easily with no way to extract. I keep threatening to take the angle grinder to them to try and reprofile that end a bit. I ground of the little annoying hump of the flat end too for the same reason. The best levers I have used had 2 more gradual curves on the s end that had a similar thickness to the flat end. These didn't look as strong however they were far nicer to use.

Got some kentool levers here as listed above…… that bendy face lever looks handy, I guess that’s for going across and up and over the first rim edge to lever the tyre off the rim?

also the helping hands blocks are handy, make sure to get two.

the cheapy threaded bead breaker gets a thumbs up from me and will even do quad bike tyres.
