As title suggests, has anyone found an easier way of sampling grain when its stored at these depths as most sampling spears are 2 meters long. I remember someone using a special hoover with about a 1 inch tube that would suck up a sample as you pushed it in. any suggestions ?

Why do you need to sample full depth?

In a flat floor store, grain at the bottom is usually the same as the grain at the top when it goes in. Unless something changes in store there should be no difference.

Might be different if you’re testing for drying/moisture, or in stores filled by conveyor.
