Beware Bionic energy brokers

I have just tried to renew my electricity contract to find the brokers I used 2 years ago did it in December without my direct permission. It appears the small print of my last contract allowed them to do this.
I have found several e-mails offering me new contracts which I had not signed. I also had a phone conversation with a broker who offered me a deal which included them paying me the £5000 commission they would receive. I had declined this. The contracts they signed will cost several £1000s more than my most recent deal, for which potentially I have to pay the commission they will not receive due to Bionic already renewing.
I await their response but I thought all should be warned.
Bionic beware!

I hate them with a passion!!
I’m afraid I doubt you’ll get far with them.
Left them the bluntest review I could on trust pilot.
They are a disgrace and I have warned so many people about them.
I’m due in August to be rolled over without my permission.
Apparently I should have had emails but nothing ever came to me, and it was all in the small print
They do a guarantee to return their brokerage fee if you’re not happy.
I’ll be claiming that then moving premises as far as they are concerned.

I would say I can’t believe Mole Valley are actively still recruiting for these shisters but probably some connection if you dig deep enough I bet.

I was going to say moke valley farmers use them

Itx Al. Turned into a big of a nightmare to say the least.

Paying mire for power is one things but companies adding numbers to bills for nothing is what is going on often.

Awful racket

Not Bionic, but I had a decent price off a broker last week. I didn't commit to anything, but she turned pushy, and kept wanting to send me contracts so I could get them signed that day. I told her I hadn't agreed to anything 🤚
I went direct to her best price, and they were a full 1.5ppkwh less than she quoted 🤥 Only problem is that they insist on a smart meter, and I'd rather not.

Electricity brokers.......don't like their style at all 😕

Don't accept this !!

Auto renewal/payment is creeping into far to many things.

Search out the CEO's contact details, and contact them directly, and tell them you no longer want to purchase from them, you never agreed to auto renewal, and you want compensation for the time it takes to get it sorted.

If they play hard-ball, cancel the DD, set up an account with your preferred new supplier and wait for them to sue you.

Courts take a very dim view of small print, especially this type.

I was talking to my broker and he had heard of Bionic and the way they conduct business. He said that, unfortunately, they have a lot of small print !
I'm lucky to have our broker ,they often go beyond their remit to help and I know one of the bosses personally.

I took Bionic to the ombudsman and won... contract cancelled, written apology and £100 gesture of good will payment.
They emailed me recently to negotiate a new contract...not bloody likely.
Opt out of 'Do It for you contract' ASAP
TFA no longer advertise their services due to bad practice.
I emailed Mole Valley but no reply sadly.
Beware

the apology should've come from mvf as well.
