biomass accumulator tank

looking to convert a 12000 liter tank into a accumulator tank for my biomass boiler has any experience on converting one

whats the tank made from?
we used one about 10000 litres which was stainless.
welded some fitting on it, then got some sheets of insulation.

Insulation is not cheap. The stuff we used should cost in the region of 2K i believe.

I take it you mean the tank is inside. For a second I was wondering how or why you would spray foam the inside of the tank.

Is it square or cylindrical? I have 22000 l cylindrical tank, cut holes for boiler feed/return in top/bottom opposite corners then same in other diagonals with multiple in/out feeds depending on needs. All these may be different sizes, also expansion outlet on top going to expansion tank, don’t forget tapping for temperature gauges as well!
Plasma cutter is you friend on curved surfaces!

That’s an absurd amount of money, Ive supplied tanks 6 times that size fully insulated for less.
