Here is the yield map from my biostimulant on its own, micronutrient on its own and both mixed.
Fairing Spring barley on good, not too heavy, Ashley series soil. Over 7 t/ha. so not really suffering.

No need to comment further.

I was given some bio stimulant for a trial as well. It was applied to RGT Planet. I’m not expecting anything exciting from the yield maps 😉

From what ive sern it depends on the season, where there is a response it usually seems to be where plants are stressed

the trial i ran lat year did show response but not one that returned MOIC

I put it on drought stressed spring barley.

Clutching at straws to get it to hold on a bit longer.

Are you a member of NIAB TAG? They have some interesting trials results from various bio stimulants
Yes I am a member of NIAB TAG.

The whole thing was sparked by an email I had claiming massive yield responses. Usual selective results used. So I challenged them that I would pay half any yield increase in return for free product. I shan't be paying them anything.

ive not applied any this year
This might have been the year they paid in your drought conditions.

until they invent crystal balls how will we ever know

The fundamental premise of most biological products is wrong.

I'm not closed minded on anything but the premise with most biologicals is like pissing in a swimming pool and expecting the pH of the urine to affect the whole pool. And this extrapolation doesn't compute before and doesn't now

If claims are made they need to be scrutinised. And if they look dodgy they need to be exposed. I get cross about some claims as it trys to make fools of farmers and there are enough of them on twitter already
