There is a blackbird here that mimics the phone ring. I hope he forgets it by next year.


Small grandson listened to my dog sniffing a hole in the ground and then huffing. His face lit up and he said "Dog exploded". Dog was made to do it a number of times with grandson rolling with laughter on the floor. A magic moment.

Listening to a distinctive bird call just now but no idea how to identify it.

It kind of goes wooooo-eeep weep weep.

Is there any site I can go to to try and identify it?

Sounds like a follow up to Gene Vincent hit - be bop a lulu?

Anybody else remember Percy Edwards, the famous bird and animal impressionist. Was a real celebrity in the 60's.
