Hello! I am a master's student at Exeter University. For my research project, I have prepared a survey to understand the specific issues regarding farmers' struggle with controlling bird pest populations on their farms.

Who are those bird species?
How damaging they are?
What can we do?

Starlings.
In their f**king thousands .......

Damage? Each bird eats 70g/day and I estimate that 7000 is not uncommon so that's 490kg of food not being eaten by my cows. Worse, that 70g has to be processed ... usually on to every surface in the farm yard including the cow's backs

Give them 12 month contraceptives
