Fed up with feeding all the big black birds and sea gulls in the district that swoop into my lamb creep feeder as soon as I load it, eat the feed and leave a layer of bird sh!t all over it. Its the type where the lambs go completely inside with an adjustable 'grille' across the front.
Any barrier needs to swing both ways and be compatible with the varied size openings, so a stiff sheet of anything wont do. Thought of a chain screen which the lambs would readily push aside after getting to know there was feed to be had, but not sure if birds would be deterred, especially sea gulls which are quite hefty.
Any successful solutions please, it must be a universal problem.
