Bitersaltz vs liquid Magnesium ?

Put on about 8 l/ha of opti mag on rape this week following tissue test done by customer glad they had ibc, I could pump out of rather than bags of bitter salts. Also put on 5 l/ha of feeder k which I have never come across before
But that would only amount to 5kg/ha bitter salts so a bag does 5 ha's. would it really be that much of a hardship to 6 or 8 bags into the sprayer, my sprayer induction bowl will take it as quick as I can pour it in.

Does anyone have any thoughts about these results???
This field of winter barleyhasnt really got going this spring, its 2nd cereal after beet, mucked for beet and again before the current crop, mg index 2 and mg applied with beet base fert, K index 2+

Is the K level causing mg deficiency??? Its since had 5kgs of epsotop and confirms my thinking that I can cut down in applied MN but need to include MG from TO timing and not from T1

I am trying novacrop sap testing, it does old and new leaves whereas all the other tissue tests sample old leaves. It’s very different to the current standard and meant to be much better but who knows.
I have used omex tissue testing for a while and noticed trends with that so will see how it all compares.

do you have any experience of the Omex “bespoke” tissue test and matched product system ?

seem a logical approach but I guess it’s probably expensive ?
Yes I have used it for a while but it really is just generic tissue testing ans they then recommend you which of their products to use. Edaphos did nearly exactly the same when I tried them, did a tissue test and then recommend me a load of aiva foliars for what was deficient.
I am trying to understand all this more and working with a couple of independent people and using novacrop sap analysis to see what is right.
Will continue to use Omex foliars though as cheap and good products.

How does SAP test compare to leaf test from Yara / Landcrop? Are they testing the same part of the plant?
