Black paint pealing on jcb round door and bonnet

I keep trying to paint around the the bottom of the bonnet on are jcb 541.70 Agri super but every time I paint it the rust keeps coming back I tried everything and one now of a good way of painting it and keeping the rust away so it doesn’t come back throw

Try some fertan rust killer

JCB should get an award for the worse paintwork ever on any machine . They haven’t a clue about paint work .

To far the yellow paint is soiled you can’t fault the yellow paint just the black

It is a problem JCB know about but have done very little to fix the problem , not cleaning the steel first before painting is 90% the problem

Ares is doing the same year old but about the best tool on the market I think apart from the black paint

Probably only using felt tip rather than paint

I find spray cans keep rust away better than brushing paint on for some reason. Wire wheel it first then get some satin black on, she'll look factory

Could try some Por15 metal prep to deal with the rust then por15 top coat direct to metal.

The black is powder coat onto poorly prepped steel. As durable and hard wearing as powder coating is any marks damage or imperfections or poor prep allow rust to creep underneath unnoticed until it pretty much comes off in sheets or blisters up all over.
