Black trailer

Our 12 plate MF 7620 was the first one to be made with ABS
I’ve specified abs on our last tractor but when plugged into tractor big warning light comes on manufacturer out to tell me that it’s trailer problem
It’s a Stewart trailer that has abs working off 7 pin already I presume and that is causing a problem in tractor why would they put the plug on trailer if it affects need to speak to Stewart this week to get to bottom of it

Yes big red warning at all speed
Little green light comes on on trailer up to I think 5kph then goes out whe abs lead isn’t plugged in brakes all working fine
It’s just frustrating to spec something and pay extra for it to then get into a game of its their fault

What hell have they done to it, i looked under our grain trailer other day, no dent but paint faded and rear door a little thin but all work, grain tight, made 1987
Local AD gang carting maize , To bigger loads on unsuitable road at even more unsuitable speeds for the conditions = a trailer that fell apart like a clown car .

Are you using the trailer with the dedicated ABS susi line in or still just the 7 pin lighting plug?

Wow, I’ve always thought the first weak point in anything overloaded would be a tyre would blow out. Wouldn’t expect a trailer like that to self destruct!

It was, they used to run round of 560 tyres but due to speed and loading over the distances they do they are now on super singles.

That’s what manufacturers of the tractor think is the problem

thats where tractor manufacturers thinks problem is
It works on 7 pin plug fine
When we plug susi in the red on screen of tractor so we think signal from 7 pin plug is overriding susi

Shouldn’t be as 7 pin only activates the ABS when the brakes are pressed. If the warnings come on as soon as susi is plugged in it could be anything.
Have you got another ABS tractor, susi or trailer?
