Blackhaugh suffolks?

Just wondering if anyone has has used the blackhaugh suffolks. Looking to try a more maternal suffolk to keep replacements from mainly texel x ewes.

They will be just the tups for that job. Commercial tups, not the monster headed, thick boned ones you see elsewhere. Bred for producing females as well as fast growing fat lambs.

I'd say you could do a lot worse. A very strong commercial influence on all of his stock

I used one last year on Romney ewes and had just as easy lambing as the NZ Romney’s I’ve used and the lambs look very good from him.
