Blind Ewe

I have got my shearlings on some PP that I was given that is in some well paid scheme or other and today I noticed one that is obviously blind or nearly blind. With the others, head slightly down, freaks out when I get near but runs like she thinks she is going to trip up. I haven't caught them up as I was out for the day and no dog with me but she is the same when I called in on my way home. I have not had this grazing before so I was wondering if there is some mineral deficit that might cause it. Caught them all up last weekend to squirt with Clik and didn't see anything odd then. Too hot to bundle her into the truck and take to the vets so might have to pay the call out but any ideas would be appreciated.

Blind can come when in pain or distress, did you check her inner eyelid colour? Not anaemic is she?

Classic blindness is CCN but they usually become recumbent and easy to catch. Also more likely in lambs I think. For that a vitamin jab (b1) soon perks them up need to give for up to a week before they come right.
