Blocked oil gland on foot

Noticed today one of my sheep seems to have a blocked oil gland on her foot. It feels quite fluidy. Should I tried and express it, unblock it, soak it?? She didn’t seem too bothered with me touching it.

There might be a bit of V-shaped hair-clump you can pull out.

Google suggests the treatment for an impacted/infected interdigital sebaceous gland is the same as the treatment for scald or footrot so a dose of oxytet' should clear it up if indeed that is the cause of the lameness.

If it’s not sore and the sheep is not lame then leave it alone. Messing about with it will just make a problem.

No it didn’t seem sore to her and doesn’t appear infected. Nor was she lame on it. I gave it a squirt of blue spray anyway so will keep an eye on her. Thanks all.
