Not heard tbh.
It doesn't help entries when it's so difficult for the Northern Irish to come over, they would normally bring quite a few cattle.

Been a good show of Blondes at the Royal Three Counties today

Yes the Irish use to dominate the show a real shame now. Must be plenty Scottish/North England breeders who could support the show. I guess it’s not cheap either tho.

Not sure why more don't go.

Yeah I was showing. Got 3rd with my jnr heifer sired by Clondown Eddie.
Then my senior heifer was 1st and Reserve female champion she is sired by our old stock bull Silverwood Len

Sold this lad on Monday finished.
614kg at 14mths (642kg at home). Not been particularly pushed, on an 18% protein barley mix and adlib haylage. Top price bull on the day at 278p/kg

Looked a good lad was he not suitable for breeding? Certainly better than some iv seen at the shows this year.

He was perhaps the best in the shed, just couldn't halter break him unfortunately. And I'd never sell a bull for breeding if I can't walk him.

Good choice no point selling a bad temperament for breeding.
