Hi white rabbit will this poll include potato growers if so I am with you all the way
Rotating a bull, haven’t a clue, never heard that expression, you might have to check with whoever mentioned that to youThe amount of livestock farmers complaining about the ahdb to our campaign means we could almost force a vote in this sector,I am learning a new language has well what does rotating a bull mean surely not turning him upside down
They have a photo of 3 guys, who are calling for a vote on the future of ahdb,Haven't seen farmers weekly tarw Coch if it looks like tom cruise it could be

Think we can rule out the one on the right as if I’ve read it right, he’s a flower grower so just to be different I’m going to say white rabbit is the man on the left...................although o don’t see the resemblance to Tom cruise but then again, it’s a long time since top gun so he might have aged.Rebel growers launch fresh challenge to AHDB with new ballot - Farmers Weekly
Three Lincolnshire horticulturalists and potato growers are challenging the way the AHDB collects and uses their money, launching a new ballot about thewww.fwi.co.uk
I'd say that the middle photo is the one who's most like Tom Cruise.

From what you say and at a guess, possibly take one bull out from cows and put another in to give the one a rest. It would also have the advantage that if there was a problem with one bull hopefully another would catch the cows, possibly next cycle depending on when bulls were changed around.Whatever I have said about highland mule I take it all back, while we are in Scotland the chap who was complaining to us about the ahdb is a livestock, cereal, and potato grower from East Lothian ,He was saying he had been on a ahdb monitor farm and what a waste of time that was they spent most of the time arguing about whether they should rotate the bull ,tarw Coch couldn't tell me
I'm at a loss. The article says that it would only take 70 growers in the fruit and veg section to trigger a ballot on whether the horticultural levy should continue. How hard is it to get 70 people to demand one? What's the point of this privately organised ballot of fruit and veg growers? The AHDB aren't bound by it, so whats the point?

will you refuse to pay ?Highland mule if the ballot went our way we would go back to George eustice who we were talking to at the beginning of our campaign and may I add was supportive of a voluntary levy,if we don't get the numbers well we have at least helped the potato growers according to the fresh produce journal they are going to reduce their levy, but we have a lot of growers saying that they will let the ahdb take them to court which will make great news for all the press ,just think of the headline farmers taken to court for growing vegetables and treated like common criminals.
Are you sure about that?If enough of us band together yes ,what ahdb are relying on is that we don't want a court order against us because it would cause untold damage,I really don't think the average farmer realises the disgraceful way these people conduct the running of this organisation ,let's face it most of them have no need to talk to the ahdb from one year to another and how the nfu works so closely to them which leaves you nowhere to go,no wonder their membership has fallen from 55,000 to 49,000 in short space of time
