Sadly (on this occasion) I decided to try a new feed firm this year (carrs), hearing great things about their feed and the rep often asking if would give them ago, so i thought what not!
So got some blow in my bin.
Usually i have carry over so used the last tonne of my ewedale rolls then got onto new stuff, the diameter of the carrs stuff is slightly smaller but they were mostly broken and lots of bits that no longer represented a pellet within, just look like they have had a good battering! noticeably soft too/easy to snap.
not sure if it’s possible to see here but in the corners there’s loads of small bits and dust , they agreed they were not upto std and here they are been sucked back onto wagon to be replaced, you can see the odd ewedale roll in there!
so here’s a view of the feed on the wagon of the new or replacement feed before been blow in,
They look extremely short and loads of little bits in again? considering it’s jiggled about on wagon from Lancaster I can imagine bottom worse again? and its yet to be blown into the bin
Apparently after more phone calls this is the std of carrs feed and if they took it back the next load could be as bad again?
Now to be clear the reps have been absolutely first class and extremely helpful but those above have In my view have had a very poor response.
It’s off through a snacker aswel so needs to be right or it will be lost into ground,
ive sent it back as once its blown into the bin cant see it being any better than the first lot, which was universally agreed was not upto std?
what do you guys think of it?
