On my Nuffield travels I was lucky enough to meet an entomologist called Dr Jonathan Lundgren. He was one of my most inspiring visits in the US. He was at the time working for the USDA ARS but when I was there he was having troubles as he spoke up against certain practices and backed it up with data but it didn't fit the USDA remit. Now fed up with being gagged and hounded he has decided to start his own research farm where he will produce independent data and verification of biological agriculture. This though takes money and he is trying to get crowd funding to get started:

Not expecting people to donate but if people can look at their website and share with others and help get it out there. I really believe that he will produce results that will help us in the UK not just the US.
