Hi does anyone know that if my blue texels will still be able to go to ram will they still be cycling? think I messed up
Numbers might take a hit if nutrition isn't up to it, but if they are being well done it should be fine. They might still be cycling but expect lamb numbers to be down a bit this late perhaps.
When do you want to lamb them next year? If you want the: lambing early (pedigrees?) then you might compromise that if they don’t lamb until June this year.

In a past life we used to lamb every 2 months, most ewes had a Dorset base but many had none and some just a quarter, but June lambers weren't much worse than Feb or April for numbers if nutrition was right, none of these 3 were sponged.Natural fecundity drops gradually over the season, with the second cycle supposedly the best for numbers. Tupping now must surely be pushing any breed to the limits of it’s natural season, and fecundity will be dropping?
Most May lambing mule flocks see lower numbers than the same ewe breed lambing in March/April, and I can’t see June being any improvement in those terms.
Yeah that's the trouble just coming to the end off second cycle and only one ewe out off 3 is raddled marked they have been with teaser before so now have put them in with 2 rams 1 blue texel and 1 charlaisOnly one way to find out.
Already in lamb ?Yeah that's the trouble just coming to the end off second cycle and only one ewe out off 3 is raddled marked they have been with teaser before so now have put them in with 2 rams 1 blue texel and 1 charlais

No he was good haven't had a prombelm with the ewes that went to ram with the charlais about 27 all beforeI was wondering whether to be cheeky enough to ask how long the teaser had been cut.
