Metsulfuron methyl or CMPP. How big are the weeds? Anything else to consider in the tank mix? CMPP needs warmth and both need care on a stressed plant. I would guess that the weed is stressed too. Neither weed is a big problem to control, so be prepared to wait until conditions improve.

I don't think metsulfuron is up to the job on Ivy Leaved Speedwell (ILS). Most straight metsulfuron products are rated as 'resistant' for ILS (<65% control).

If the ILS populations are particularly high and you are concerned then use an SU product with thifensulfuron in the formulation e.g. Concert SX. These mixes get you into 'moderately susceptible' territory which should be enough given the rainfall and good growing conditions for the barley which should swamp out suppressed weeds like ILS.

That might work. Bit added to a general BLW mix is good. Is that the product that has restrictions on the straw use following?

@JLLM Corn Marigold is a pain in Pembs! 3/4 rate Ally and 3/4 rate Starene XL do a pretty good job. PDM in the Pre-em gives them a good head ache to start.
